Default SES light on and "reduced engine power"

I broke a belt on my Powerdyne and had to rebuild it this past week.....just got it back together after driving the truck n/a the whole time. Started it up and everything's fine.....went for a drive and everythings fine at light throttle. Gave it some gas and fell on it's face and limped home. It's got a Wait4me tune which has worked perfectly for many months. It's acting like it doesn't want to read any boost.

Anyone got any ideas???? Can't even drive the truck at all!!!!

I had this issue when I had a Powerdyne. Mine was tuning issues. After 3500rpm the "Reduced Engine Power" would flash and I couldn't get over 10mph, the pedal had no response. I don't know if this is possible but maybe your PCM readjusted the airflow tables since it was NA for so long?? I'd call Jesse for sure. Did you remove the PCM during install/uninstall of the Powerdyne? Could you have gotten the 2 PCM mixed up? Just throwing **** out there. Do you have any way to log or have a predator?

I don't have any way to log at the moment. I didn't touch the PCM at all and the stock one is put away in the garage. It's so freakin weird! I was thinkin the same thing about the PCM learning and changing because of being n/a for a week.....that would just SUCK! I wish someone would've possibly told me that. It's not an easy task to change out the 42lb injectors back to the stockers if the Powerdyne belt breaks again. I really need to figure this one out and if it is something like that then everyone needs to know.....so they don't make the same mistake.

You already had to have the powerdyne rebuilt? You just got it not long ago right?

have you disconnected the battery? that should cause teh computer to "forget" the learned items and start fresh again, just disconnect it for a few minues and reconnect. Reduced Engine Power sucks, I had that issue with a throttle body problem, couldn't even get it to climb my driveway to put it in the garage on it's own..... pushing a truck up hill is a PITA

yeah i was spinning it a little too high....something close to 48k rpm. It's only supposed to go to 40k max with the stock bearings.....not to mention i bought it used. I put the good bearings in it so we'll see how it goes. If it goes again anytime soon then it's bye bye supercharger and hello turbo. I've already ran a 14.2 @ 96 with 8 psi so it's not doing all that bad.

I did that twice last night and it came back twice. I pulled everything apart both times to make sure it wasn't anything stupid.

On the 3rd time i looked inside the tb and my VR throttlebody velocity stack was too close to the butterfly and it was hitting. I pulled it back a little and put everything back together. Took it out for a drive and everything was fine and the light went off after starting it up again.

I was EXTREMELY relieved!!! The truck is running extremely fast right now....faster than before. I guess the bearings that went out were on the way out for a while. I beat a new Viper truck badly (3 to 4 truck links) from a roll, a stop, and a roll. He was super MAD I was super happy

I should probably also mention that on the rebuild i shimmed the impeller along with the new bearings and was rewarded with 2 extra psi. I'm thinking the truck should run a very solid low to mid 13....i'll even lay a guess at a 13.35. We'll see how that pans out in about a week and 1/2 when the track opens again.

good thing you got it figured out, but a turbo does not sound bad either!

I bet you surprised the **** out of that other truck, seeing that a big 4door truck was pulling away!!
