Default service light

guys today i changed out my volant filter for a K&N and after a drive from work to home my service light came on. the reason i switched was to allow more air flow. now my truck is tuned could this just be a need for a retune with this new filter?

too much oil on the filter. the oil is getting on the MAF sensor. Dry the filter a little and clean the MAF sensor with some brake cleaner.

Have you scanned for DTC's yet? Post up your codes.

First thing you need to do is recheck your installation for loose clamps/boots, etc. Wouldn't hurt to clean the MAF at the same time.

Don't use brake cleaner on your MAF. There are several brands of MAF cleaner available at your local parts store.

Was the check engine light on before you changed air filters?

Sounds like unmetered air entering the engine. Computer goes pig-rich to try to keep the engine running, sets a code. Did you recheck your installation?

Also, lose the TB spacer.
