I don't know if this is a tuning issue, but I thought it fit best here. When I turn my truck on the message center reads Service Airbag and doesn't go off, anyone ever had this problem? Could it be from the cam and converter that used to be in the truck?

Did you break hard to avoid crashing or something? I have the same problem cause i breaked really hard to avoid a car. The light does not turn off, it can only be fixed at the dealership.

 

Yeah actually I did a few months ago, (floored it at 65-70 on a wet road, spun around and yeah..) but I think it was on before that happened?

 

its definately not in your tune, you could have a bad sensor or module
find out what the code is and let me know, i will see if any bulletins or anything come up..

 

Maybe it was that. I've been to several places and tried to take off the code, but you can't. Only at the dealership. Its something to do with safety thats why they only the dealership can take it off. I've had it on for about 1 yr. i don't wana go take it off cause i know it is going to be expensive. It cost's $85 just to put the scanner so that they know the problem, but even then a code might not come out.

 

Well it's still under warranty so I'll take it in, I just had the speedo fixed last Friday! My tuner is actually on this forum (Rhino79) and he checked it out, nothing he could do with EFILive so it must be something else. I appreciate the help guys, maybe I can get it fixed!
