Exclamation Running Lean!!!!!

This topic has been brought up a few times and not really it hard with any solutions. I just went to the track as ya'll might've heard....I have 33* total timing and have added tons of fuel and still lean. Before getting indepth with tuning questions, comments and/or opinions, how can I tell if I'm maxing out my stock fuel pump???? I think this might be my problem. The other night I could not get enough fuel to the engine. I just did some more adjustments(retune) and later this week I'm going to see if this new tune(more fuel) will help. The only thing I can think of is to bring my timing down to 30* total and this might fatten it up some.

I need help with this before something happens...........anybody got a 6.0 for sale???HAHAHAHA!!!

Get a fuel pressure gauge and watch it at WOT, if it starts to fall than that pump isn't enough

Yes but it's under the hood. I have the aeromotive reg set @ 75-80psi. When ya'll bash me then I'll explain.

I know anything under 45psi, the truck will run, then die, run, die.........I think that somewhere in the range of 65psi and higher.

You need to go see allen and let him show you a few things, and let him tune it again in person. Good luck.

Ditto, you may have a fuel problem, but thats way too much timing. I bet its not making any extra power past 28-29*.

That's what I was thinking too. But if you get the timing down to 29, doesn't the truck still take the same amount of fuel for the air coming into the engine??? If youput 29* total into it and lean it out, you're doing the same thing @ say 38* and leaning it out. It's just on a lower level. An engine detonating with 29* is easier on the bottomend then when it's detonating with 38*. Tomorrow I'm going to put in a new tune with 29* total and start adding fuel.
Please, I'm not trying to argue with anyone, I'm trying to understand this computer tung stuff.
