Default replacing MAF

Can I use a MAF sensor for a camaro or corvette with out having to modify the tune on my 5.3 Silverado. My MAF sensor went bad and I'm curious of my options because my truck will not stay running right now.

I don't think you could use it without modifying the tune. The intakes are quite different aren't they?

I started having lean problems on both banks (Codes 102 and 104). Now my truck won"t stay running at all. I can get it to idle for a few minutes but that is all. I disconnected the MAF and started the truck. When I reconnected the MAF it killed the engine and it will not start unless I disconnect it. If you have any other ideas before I drop the cash it will be appreciated.

They are different. Trucks use the 5 wire MAF, f-bodies use the 3 wire MAF.
