It has a cutoff. But it only kills the battery. Not the engine

Once again it's not enough. The first start up is fine. But once it warms up it won't start and acts like the battery is dead. So far I have the battery grounded to the block and frame and the block to the frame with 4ga wire and the stock pos wire to the cutoff with the 0ga then the cutoff the the battery with the 4ga. And from the alt to the battery with 4ga wire. I'm about ready to just trade battery's with my buddy and put it in the second battery location. The wires would be shorter and I won't need a cutoff

There shouldn't be any primary wires as small as 4 gauge. Only the fuse box should get 4 gauge.

I'm going to add the 0ga from the cutoff to the battery but I don't know if it will help. I'm only showing 12.8v at idle. Use to be around 13.3-13.5

Check all your connection points. The attachment points need to be clean. Even the battery terminals on the battery need to be cleaned with a wire brush.

All connections are secure and clean. The battery is an optima yellow top and is about 6 months old. The terminals are clean.

I keep coming back to this thread hoping to hear that you've found the problem. Looks like you're still at it.

Is that car audio wire?? If so, it's not up to the task. I also asked earlier, what are you using for terminal ends?

It's 0ga power wire. Using the 2ga wire ends from autozone.

Still having a lot of issues. I removed the power distribution block. Desired the starter with the 0ga added a 4ga from the alt to the to where the battery was where I have a block for all of the positive wires. Still wont start. My buddy recommended adding a battery to the second battery tray and wire it to the pos block and ground it to the frame. Should charge like normal, shouldn't need a cutoff and provide more power.
