Default reduced engine power after torque converter install

Got my converter installed 2 nights ago, which I have been very pleased with so far, but went into rep mode. I've put probably 30 miles on it since I've installed it and only tripped it once. I noticed the neutral saftey switch (box by the linkage) was a little messed up. Looked like it had been off before and had a crack in the casing. Could this switch going bad cause the rep? Any insight let me know. Thx guys

Pulled the code. Showed p1516. Is there a possibility that the tranny dipstick got into the ground?

Its the one that goes in the back of the block right? If u completely broke the wire, then I would be in rep all the time right? Do I just check the wire for a short?

Check both of them at the back of the engine. Pass side should be on the head, drivers side should be on the block near the head.
