Default Random bogging issue after hot start

Yesterday was the first time in 5000 miles that this issue occured. It has been running flawless and all of a suddden I get this wierd bogging issue after a hot start. It doesn't do it when the engine is cold.

I start the truck, and take off normally and it doesn't really go anywhere. It runs real choppy and the more throttle I give it to get going, the more it boggs and gurggles. It only occurs for maybe 30 seconds and then all of a sudden it runs normal. Yesterday I just slowly gave it throttle and it bogged more and more as the pedal went down. Then all of a sudden it caught and took off.

Ive tried to get some logs of it happening but everytime I log it, the problem doesn't occur. Any ideas on what would cause this? Fuel pump maybe?

Sounds like what happens when you don't have enough fuel pressure. I would look at the pressures especially under load and see whats up. Is this return style or return less???

It is a return system. Of course everytime it happens, I don't have my compter with me. Been trying all day to get a log but it hasn't done it yet.. A couple days ago it happened everytime I started the truck warm. Fuel pump does seem a little noisey but it has sounded like that for a year or so. I will be persistant with my computer until I can get a good log.

Figured it out yet? Mines been doing this for about the last year. Nothing serious, but I hacve to let my truck warm up a few minutes before I can take off. And I've had the fuel pump replaced.

Sounds like your EQ tables needs some more fuel. Mine only does this when it is warm. It is perfect when the ECT is under 150 or so
