2000 Tahoe, I put the wiring harness it calls for together and it dosen't have sound...WTF? Is there something specific I need besides the harness, and the antenea adapter?

 

I don't even remember if they had this in 2000.. but does it have a bose system?

It would say it on the speaker grills. I asked because it's an amplified system and one time with a jeep I did an install on I had a factory amplified system and I forgot to hook up the amp remote wire to signal the amp to turn on, therefore, no sound.

If you have one, it's either the solid blue wire, or the solid with white stripe... one is the amp, one is power antenna... I can't remember for sure which is which off the top of my head.

 

Hard to say what is wrong.. I think you might need a different adapter if it does in fact have a bose system in it.. Does the power up???
