Default Question About A/C After Nelson Harness Install

I am not saying that the nelson fan harness caused this or anything of that sort. I installed the harness as directed and everything works as far as the fans but the A/C compressor doesn't work for some reason of course it is about 30 degrees outside but I figured it would atleast click on once. Does anyone have any idea as to why the A/C does not work please help? By the way that harness is pretty sweet I like the way it wires up everybody on here was right.

I know it sounds dumb but is the A/C belt on. It took me a few months of owning my truck before I found wear my A/c belt is. but You have already checked that I bet. All fuses good? A/C compressor pluged it?

Yeah the belt is good and so are the fuses I don't have a clue unless where you tap into the A/C line for the harness it cut the line some how.

Will somebody please help me wiring diagram something please. This is driving me insane. From the test I have done so far the compressor is not getting any juice. Could this be in the tune (which I did) any input what so ever would be very helpful.

Wouldn't think the tune. Could be the tap. Check voltage above and below it. The electric fans should kick on with it. The A/C clutch doesn't kick in much when cold unless you are using the defrost. I'm guessing you are trying it with the A/C on.

I have checked the tap and it is good above and below it. The truck idles up and gets ready for the compressor to kick on but it does not kick on.

Did it work before the fans? Do the e-fans kick on? You tap into a green (I think) wire that is the 12V for the A/C clutch. Low on freon? If you aren't getting 12v to this wire has to be a fuse, connection, or a low freon condition I would think. Sounds like the PCM is commanding it. The idle up.

What year truck etc... Might be able to dig up a schematic. May be a relay in the loop.

If I am not mistaken the signal wire is a ground with a test light hooked to the postive post on the battery the test light lights up. There is a relay in the fuse panel under the hood. The A/C did work before the install, the fans also come on as I have them directed in the tune. I pretty sure the compressor will still kick on even if it is low of freon but I am not a A/C man. I still wonder if the way you set the pressure for the fans to cut on with the A/C on might have something to do with it but I am not real sure. The truck is a 2000 silverado with a 5.3. Anymore help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
