Default Problems since trans/converter

ok since the install of the new trans and 4000 stall ive been havin some codes thrown. so i took the truck to my buddy who helped me put the trans in shop last night and he scanned em and looked em up on the internet for me. i cant remember the codes off hand so ill have to give him a call later and ask him. anyways what i could remember is that it said

-2-3 shift solenoid is stuck on
which i have noticed it goes back and forth between the 2-3 shift when i hit a certain speed/rpm on a hill

-something about the vacuum pressure in the line also if i remember correctly

anyways it said one of these may be the result of such a high stall speed and i think it was the 2-3 shift problem.

any help?

my ABS/Ebrake lights are going off and on quite frequently also but only when the truck is moving which i though was weird.... when we cleared the code they immediately came back up which my buddy said is a result of something being disconnected somewhere

thanks for any assistance

the 2-3 (shift solenoid B) stuck on is probably the P0757 code.

its b/c of that big converter you have in there. mine throws the code randomly also.
the way mine happens is it stays stuck in 3rd gear, even if you come to a complete stop. you have to turn off the truck, let it sit for a few, then crank it back up and you should be fine to get to your destination.

since i don't have a scan tool, i usually disconnect the battery for a lil while and it resets the check eng. light.

the abs problem, could be that your wheel speed sensors are dirty.

ya thats exactly what the code was... thats what it said it could be because of the high stall speed. did you ever replace that solenoid Lance? thanks

I had the same problem with my old converter, it was a Quality Converter 3400, now with my PI 3000 i have not had that problem. Its from the size of the converter.

BTW- what converter did you end up getting man?

My tuner and I were gonna try to mess around with it, but my stall didnt give me enough time it messed up and i just bought a PI. I even bough a scanner to take care of the code as soon as it would pop up. I got tired of pulling over the side and disconnecting my battery cables, lol.
