Yeah I got the big bitch behind the steering pump. I would have to think that I screwed up the TB with the brake cleaner in the throat??????? Its all I can think of. I know that it is a big bummer to have a new 408 in the truck and the truck will not even run for more then 20 seconds and its all under reduced power. I was thinking about renting a new Z71 tomorrow and try the throttle body?

I wonder if the 06 Silverado TB and TAC are the same as the one's on mine? I am seriously thinking about renting a new Silverado tomorrow and using it for troubleshooting purposes.

Well I went through with my plan on troubleshooting using an 06 rental Silverado with the 5.3 I first plugged in the throttle body and I got the same P1518 code with reduced power. I then took the TAC out of the 06 and with both of them in my truck I still got the P1518 code! I am not too happy with this crap, I am about to pay someone to figure this out for me.
