Default Problem with MAF

I am trying to get my truck tuned, and Justin with blackbear said my MAF is reading 20% off. I just did a swap from a 99 4.3 to 02 4.8, and still running the original MAF. Could running the 4.3 MAF throw this off or would it be more likely that it is going bad? Thanks for any help

Oh well that might be it then, If the cleaner didnt fix it, im going to grab another one off a 2000 5.3 to see if that does anything.

The sensors are the same. The trims justin was looking at for the MAF were probably 20% off which seems reasonable for the bigger engine.

Agreed. Justin will just calibrate your MAF table so the correct fueling will be had. Your MAF is most likely fine.
