Default Predator updates

Hello, all. I know the Predator and most all handhelds are old school, but I just for now have some bolt ons. Well anyway I herd Diablo was updating the older Predators for free to the original purchaser with a recipt. So I figured what the hell and sent it out to get the updated software to have alittle more adjustability. Does anyone know how long of a turnaround they have and can the newer version tune part throttle fuel and spark?

Yes, they do updates all of the time. Just watch out because it will take a while to get it back. I had to send mine in to get an update recently and it took over three weeks to get the programmer back. This was a big hastle as mine won't run worth a crap w/o it. I would suggest just getting rid of it if you decide to do anything else to the engine. I will soon be selling mine and getting one of the software setups or a Nelson tune. I just haven't been happy with this thing. Plus, there isn't much help on this site for the Predators and these guys seem to be on to something. But, with just a CAI and exhaust, I wouldn't think the Predator would be holding you back much at this time. Where are you located south of Chicago?

Manhattan, within sight of Chicagoland Speedway... Next mod mostlikely will be a VHP 080 cam, but I'll probably hold on to it if I get a custom tune...

Injector Slope adjustments allow LTFT's to be tuned, spark adjustments at part throttle 1k-1.8k ver.2.12 kicks butt for handhelds...
