Default PCM/Tranny Sensore Inputs....

Posted this in the D&S forum but figured I come closer to getting an answer here.

Does the TPS play a part in shifting? If so, what?

Does the VSS play a part in shifting? If so, what?

Yes, there are 2 tables for part throttle shifting. 1 is TPS vs RPM and the other is TPS vs VSS. Both conditions have to be meet for the shift to accrue.
