I had my truck tuned with HP tuners and then i took it back to get a stock tune. Last night another buddy tried to tune my truck and he cannot have acces to my truck because the computer is locked. How can i unlock it or what can i do. Thanks in advance.

tell him to unlock the damned PCM

what software is the NEW tuner using? did your origonal tuner put in a custom OS?

 

Dont know much on this but i do know that both tuners are using HP Tuners that is all i know, but im going to his shop again and get him to unlock my pcm

 

only the tuner that locked the pcm can unlock it.

 

yeah man, the dealership wanted to replace the pcm, but i already got it un locked by my ex tuner.

 

The dealer has ultimate control. They can use the techII / TIS system and return the truck to stock. If your "TUNER" will not unlock it he is a *****.......
