Default P2101 reduced engine power

Where do I start? Haha it. Haven't had any problems out of the truck and I was racing a buddy and about 90 he just left me I looked down and says reduced engine power and the code P2101 will not go away. I check all the plugs running to the tb. I have a dr. X harness and 87mm stock nnbs tb

I even tried unhooking the batt for a few minutes and letting everything clear and it came right back

Did you check the pink wires on the link? If everything looks ok try your old 78mm tb & see if you still get code.

Hmm I just got this code yesterday. I cleared it with a handheld scanner, and it hasn't been back. I was making a part throttle run when I got it. I have an X-link, and 90mm T-body. It has been suggested before that this code can come from a loose or broken wire. I will look into it further if I get it again.

Bad throttle drive? Lot of crud on the throttle blade? Something is keeping it from moving correctly.

Or bad harness to the TB.

The tb is clean as can be.. I didn't have a chance to read the codes in it tonite before I loaded her up on a roll back

It went reduced engine power and made it about 100yrd where I was gunna try and get it in a parking lot and died in the turning lane.. Luckly a buddy happened to be rolling by in a roll back to scoop me up

I have only had the P2101 that one time. I had some problems with starting it and letting it idle. It would go into REP, and stall if I didn't touch the gas. If I touched the gas at all it wouldn't do it. I haven't had time to tinker with it.

I will hook my puter up to it tomorrow and see what codes in it right now but it will not start at all.. It cranks over just fine but dead as a door nail and I'm sure its gunna be the same problem but I will post what codes I get this time..

Has there been any problems with the xlinks messing up ? I mean all my stuff has worked flawlessly till last week when I posted this and now its being a pain in the ***.. I drove it three or 4 times since I posted this after I got it to go away the first time and even a few full throttle runs. Then it just dies rollin through town

I'd try bolting the stock throttle body back on to rule out the X-link
