Default p1133 and p1153 help

Ok ihave read a lot of posts on this problem when having long tubes. I think I am going to try and wrap my headers. Charlie is gonna do. Retune for me and delete the reports but what I have not seen anyone else sreport is that the idle is horrible...... my idle goes from about 400 to 700 constantly at every stop. Sometimes I can feel the surge while under light acceleration. Anyone else experience this... also I can feel a noticab le loss in power. The only new mods I have are stall and servo but I drove for 2 1/2 weeks before this problem arose

Do you have access to a scan tool or any form of scanning software? Maybe there's an actual problem with one of the O2 sensors, or an exhaust leak causing un-metered air to enter the exhaust stream. I'd also check for a vacuum leak and make sure the air intake tube is tight.

Ok I have fixed the idle problem. i had a loose intake tube. i dont know how it got loose bt it was. idle is good now just have to get charlie to delete the error reports. then i will get to my next set of mods. From searching on ls1 tech everything will run fine with the error reports deleted and it will still go to closed loop.

Cool deal man, glad it worked out to be something easy. And I believe that you are correct, those error reports can be deleted without any harm.
