I had a misfire in the right bank. I switched these Taylors from side to side, 1-2, 3-4, etc. I still had the same misfire, so I ordered new coils. Of course it was taking me forever to get them installed because the blower needs to come off to get to the right bank. In the meantime, one of the Taylors on the left side slipped around and burnt through on the header. So I replaced all of the wires again with my old ones and the misfire is gone. I loved the Taylors because they so firmly attached to the plugs and coils. The old ones seem like they are ready to fall off, but the truck runs fine

Sucks that’s what you had to do to figure it out but at least it was something stupid.

It didn't put the coils on or remove the blower if that's what it sounded like. I was lucky that wire burnt.

Taylors are good wires but i learned over the years you need to be careful when removing from the spark plug, it has a strong grip and if you dont grasp in the proper location it will come apart inside

I've had Granatelli wires crap out on me even with heat boots/shields. I've never had an issue with 409s.
