Default Odd live data and surging

So I just bought a 2007 silverado with the 4.8 motor and 4L60e in it... I recently put the scantool on it and clicked the live data button and found out that the tps and calculated load read in the vicinity of 20-25% at idle. This is with air conditioning off and in park. Anyone have any ideas as to why its reading like this? I did search for this topic but came up with nothing. Truck seems to run fine... Except for occasional light surging. By surging I mean you can sometimes feel the truck act like the go pedal gets pushed a little without any driver input. Thanks in advance.

Do a tps reset. Should read 10% tps or so.

Tried doing the reset, but TPS and calculated load still shows between 20% and 25% at idle, sometimes a little higher. Also I noticed that IAT is reading 260 or so degrees at all times, whether the engine is running or not. I plugged in the scantool before I started the truck today, coolant temp showed about 90 degrees, IAT was 260. Seemed a bit odd. I unplugged the mass air sensor and the IAT went to -40 degrees, and the calculated load went to around 1.5 and stayed there no matter where the throttle was.
