Default No PE mode. Causes?

2002 8.1L
N/A 60lb injectors
EFI Live tuned,
150,000 miles
OK guys. I've noticed for a while that the truck doesn't do well at full throttle. Just figured it was age, but I borrowed a Wideband and found out the truck will not enter POWER ENRICHMENT. Thought for sure it was just my lack of tuning abilities but I flashed the stock tune back in and just adjusted Injector Flow Rate for the 60#'s. STILL no PE mode. What could be causing this? O2 sensors? MAF?
Our truck pull season starts this weekend and I would really like to find out before it starts. Thanks guys.

Totally different truck/engine combo but I have a 1998 454 truck and the stock tune has a 60 second delay for pe making it non-existent. Mine is now set to 0.

Can't tell you right off hand, computer is at home, but all of that has been left at stock values.

Definitely something I will look at as soon as I get home! Possibly GM's attempt to save fuel in the big blocks? Who knows....

Yep.. stock tune is setup for a 60 second pe delay..
It makes quite a big difference once you dial in the AFR and get some timing in it down low.

with the 454 it was the only way gm could get it to pass smog. I'm sure there was a warranty benefit for them too, same with torque management.

They counteract the meltdown threat by pulling more timing out
