There is actually another option. Nelson offers free retunes. If you call and ask he can disable the vats system entirely in the tune. Which also means no bypass wiring or module necessary. Lots of people have started doing this as its very easy and simple.

 

if i had them retune fir the remote start i wouldnt have to get the bypass or anything just hook it up....? maybe next time u come down ...

 

The PLJX is like $10, and retain the intended functionality of the passlock system. But probably not that big of a deal for some guys to turn it off either.

 

Not what he told me, he told me my vats was turnd off, so either he lied, or it doesn't work. I saw first hand 2 separate modules installed, both brand new out of the package. Neither worked, then the pass lock one was installed, fired up first time.
