Just a question to all of you guys that have Nelson tunes, what would you guys recommend, mail order, or drive down to his shop and get a street tune?
Also where is the best place to get E-fans on-line?

if you have the option to drive to him then for sure do that. in person is always better than mail order. not sure on the fans though.

dyno tune for sure.

about the efans... i ended up getting a single fan from ebay.. it spins harder than any of the fbody dual fans that i have seen and faster than the expensive ones that perma cool or whoever sells. It was used and i had to do some custom wiring.. but it was worth it, plus i beleive nelson could hook u up with his harness to.. or you could just make your own. But i spend $50 on a fan from ebay and its given me nothing but great performance.

check the sales for e fans or browse ls1tech for someone thats selling stock fans... you can get them from usually 100-150bucks

as for the tuning, if its a haul(like 10 states for me lol) I ordered it via mail..

if you can drive do that since dyno tuning in person will get you better numbers im sure

I drove down to his place in San Antonio to have my tune done, I highly recommend this. He did a street tune then we put it on the dyno. I would get the e- fans and have him install them when he does the tune. Just purchase a wiring harness from him and you are good to go. Hope this helps. If you decide to go, shoot me a pm and I will give you directions because it is not easy to find his place believe me.
