Need some tuning advise

I'm about to do my 100K on my 02" Z71 Tahoe. (Has 86K on it now) The plans to uncork it after the intervals done. Shorties, full exhaust no cats, intake, E-fans and possibly a lifter kit thrown in.
My question is about who to send the ECU to for a tune, and plus!!! Is it worth replacing the TB/MAF with bigger units for this bolt-ons because I know the ECU has to be tuned for that as well.
I just recently blew a code for the Knock sensors so that's why I'm doing the 100K early.
Any helps appreciated, I used the search function, but couldn't find the answers I was looking for.

there are some sponsors on the right that do mail order tuning that do a pretty good job...pcm4less, Nelson Performance, TSP, speed inc off the top of my head all do mail order stuff. Might want to contact them directly for pricing though to see what fits best in your budget.

Why would you want a lifter kit unless one failed or you were running a huge setup?
New MAF Sensors are a joke. Hell people that go to a speed density dune don't even have one(or at least need one).
From what your plans look like i'd get:
Wait4me tune
Pacesetter longtubes and offroad y-pipe
ls1 efans and a nelson or dlh2006 harness
An intake is a joke but people like spending lots of money on them.
Exhaust just sounds cool so it's worth the money to me. You might pick up 5-10 from a new muffler

Appreciate it, I've been searching around and I'm thinking of getting either dynatech or pacesetter and a 3" magnaflow set-up. (Not really trying to be loud just allow the engine to breathe alittle better)
And as for the intake, Im not sure what the CFM differences are, but I like the volilant set-up, and the dyno proven 18hp seems to be it.
I figured the TB/maf upgrade was a waste because I'll I'm doing is simple mods to the truck.
Oh and know the stock Ratio on the valvetrain but I figured a 1.85ratio would gimmie another 15hp.
But honestly the Gen 3's are such marvels I'll probably pass up on that as well.

Hmmm, damn I appreciate that man, it's nice to see a Gen 3/4 owner that's not straping on every by-product on his/her motor, and still making good power.

When I went to the LS1 fan setup, I just made a new 4" "elbow" tube that comes straight out from the TB, makes a right and goes srtaight into the stock MAF/airbox. I used a drop in KNN filter, and noticed almost a 2 MPH different in 1/4 mile time. The stock MAF to TB tube is realy the only bad part of the stock intake, it squishes down to clear the fan shroud and causes turbulence where the sound baffle connects. I built mine for $30 with a turbonetics silicone coupler and 2 pieces of black ABS sewer pipe.
