Security access denied usually means the pcm is locked in some way, I would need to know the error you get before that to determine if its tunerlocked though.

Im pretty sure Allen locks up all his tunes...Its "compatible" so you can scan your truck and send him a log file via e-mail and he can tweak the tune and then send it back so you can upload it instead of having to send the PCM back and forth everytime.

You are probably correct. He said he will leave the tune unlocked as long as you buy the HPT from them. It won't even let me read the tune, so I don't see how I could up load anything though. Thanks for the responses guys, J

Try contacting Allen, its possible he accidentally locked your pcm as stranger things have happened.

BTW the other error is a vista permissions issue, have fun with that lol.

Honestly you may be better off making yourself the admin to be able to run hpt on vista...basically what vista does is gives the admin most of the rights(but even then not all unless you go through a bit more work from what I've read) and any other user can only access particular portions of the drive as a security measure.

I can't find administrator on my computer. Just owner, and I am the owner.

Default One problem found.

Got ahold of Allen today, and somehow they accedentaly locked my tune. Tune was supposed to be unlocked, that's why I didn't suspect that earlier. They are going to send me a new pcm. The other problem has to be a shitsta issue. Thanks for the help, J
