Default Need help with KR!!!

Hey fellas! I need some help figuring out where the hell all this knock retard is coming from! I have tuned the VE table pretty well and all my averages on the scanner for LTFT's are within 3%/-3%. For some reason though, I'm still picking up aq little knock retard here and there. Any ideas on what else to check for??

Where do you see it? WOT, or intermittently during part throttle? I see a slight bit intermittently, but none at WOT. I THINK it's either false knock, or burst knock. I have to do more research on the burst knock deal, and how to tune it out. If you can, maybe get some 100 octane unleaded gas, and see if it changes any.

Yeah I'll try!! I might be able to get my hands on some octane bosster though!! Do you think that could help? I'm seeing it mostly at part throttle, but I did get a little bit in WOT!!! Not a whole lot but any I suppose is not good at WOT

I am running the same timing that my Nelson tune came with originally!! I put it back to stock timing and it was even worse. I was picking up almost 3 degrees of knock with less timing in the high octane table!!

sounds like you only get it when the tcc is locked this is a common thing and I wouldnt worry about it if its only 1-2 and its random, if it creeps up when you are going up a hill then you need to pull timing. I get the same thing alot of times it can be induced by the coverter locking.

Hmmm, it does happen quite often on my uphill climbs!! Basically anytime there's more load on the motor!! But what about the WOT, I get it there too although it's not alot it still happens
