In my experience with random 4l60 transmission issues just to save you the head ache, buy a different transmission. I know that kind of sounds like a waste of money but wish I did it when I had my 02. Ended up going through 3 or 4 transmissions and a lot of cash in one month before I got fed up and sold the truck as a trade in for a new at the time 09 6l80 crew cab. New owner put a lightly built junkyard transmission in the truck and hasnt had an issue since. Once you been back and forth already a couple times with a trans builder nothing is going to change but cost of trans fluid and labor. They are not going to admit fault especially if they are already saying its a tune issue.

 

Yes I'm thinking of buying a built one just hate losing my money lol

 

That couldve been a case issue, what all problems were you having?

 

Id make the trans shop, that already has your money, put a different unit in it....

 

Where are you located? I have a spare 4l60 4x4 transmission out of a parts truck I bought I'll give you to try out and see if the issue continues.

That's awesome thanks but no thanks I'm way down the bayou about 50 miles from New Orleans I'm going back with the truck in a week or so I'm debating on buying a level5 transmission with all the goodys for a steal of a price with a converter
