Need help 4 transmissions lost 3rd and fourth must be electric

When I had that issue it was 2 little O-Rings that were the wrong size put in on the valve body and was causing pressure to bleed off. I burnt up 4 transmissions like you with normal driving within a week because of this. Trans builder told me the same **** that it's the tune. Stock transmission lasted 2 years with the same tune and when I got the trans finally built is when it started to have the issues. Go to a different transmission place have it looked over completely.

Is there any way a ground or loose connection between the transmission and computer could cause this ? This morning I started the truck and it worked perfectly third and fourth working strongly no slipping how long I don't know but I drove it about 20 miles and no slipping or any signs of trouble this gremlin is causing the transmission problem it has to be something electronic I'm guessing. Any ideas ?

Im sure you have checked all the electrical connections but go back and check all the wiring maybe something got pinched on reassembly. Check grounds and the harness connections at and in the trans.

Wonder if there isnt an issue with the 3-4 accumulator sticking in its bore.... Otherwise check grounds, and make sure the terminals in the harness connector arent corroded, pulled out or distorted in anyway....

I can give them all these ideas to look for help but I'm not the mechanic and I know nothing about the inside of the transmission I can work on plenty of other stuff just not the transmission lol

What year is the truck?
If it's a 99+ and you suspect it's an electrical issue.. Try replacing the ignition switch. Very common for this to cause intermittent transmission issues in these trucks.. Ask me how I know....
It could also be a leak in the 3rd accumulator checkball in the case. Lots of rebuilders overlook this for whatever reason..
Here is a good read for you:

From personal experience, I would suggest you go buy a transmission oil pressure gauge and hook it up and watch to evaluate what's really going on with it.. All other diagnosis at this point will be a shot in the dark. For an experienced builder, A pressure gauge used in conjunction with a scan tool, ie logging for shift speed errors, commanded pressure vs actual will at least narrow it down real close to what the problem is, often even before removing the trans to open it up.
