how'd the rpm only test go? Your screen shot shows knock coming in/at with the misfiring as well. I'm with slow on on this one, something is wrong with 5 or a sister cylinder. I didn't see a response on switching injectors yet? Gotta see if you can make another cylinder replicate those enormous amounts of misses. However, knock and lean isn't the greatest idea for tools while troubleshooting. If you are going lean on just number 5...just lean enough to cause random misfires, I'd imagine your afr wouldn't be too far off from making you believe it's okay. Prior damage...Bad injector, boost just brings the issue out. my 2 cents.

edit:I just noticed you have 4* of timing going on when 5 is goinig nucking futs...you WOT at that point?

switch injectors around (mainly #5) yet? or see if it goes wacky when you rev in nuetral (I guessing it won't..needs the load of boost if it is a damaged injector)?

I don't recall anybody running such low timing on an sts or any FI for that matter at WOT. Hmmm. Allen says 5* is fine (minus one for the retard...the retard, that's funnyLOL)?

Well I think the misfire is killing any chance of me running alot of timing. It seam the two are connected some how, I've alread swaped injectors aroun with no luck. I just did the high Idle rev with no load. I can bounce it of the limiter with out on misfire.
If anyone can telll me how to fix this there may be a bit of money in it I'm so fed up with this thing lol. Tommaro I'll run a compresion test on all the cylinders. swap out the wiring going to the coil packs.

Swap a plug wire and/or plug?? Eliminate the easy stuff first. Maybe you already tries that. I didn't re-read the post before I wrote this

yeh, plugs...small hairline crack in number five maybe? Replace them any way. Got Tr6's in there?

Just cuz curiousity is getting me....what is your timing set at up top...4500 to 6000? Then I wonder what table in HPT adjust(pulls) for misfiring. Not that will help you solve your problem. Sorry.

How about the actual plug wire? Maybe it loses something at the top and can't get the spark it needs. Easy enough to swap with another and see what happens.

I have swaped the whole coil pack assy with the wire. I have a few (8) spares from the new engine.

hey wilde I realize you've done alot, but did you retain your egr system? Is it stuck open by chance? Any vacuum leaks? How about your idle...is it great or do you have issues with it as well? The 2K should of came with egr...delete that ****!
