How much power can I gain with an agressive tune and only an intake on my HD? I hear they are extremely detuned and the closed loop delay kills power bad. Its just really sad to have a 6.0L and it be slower than your 5.3L 4x4 thats heavier.

 

Come on, I know you guys love this type of question.........lol I am pretty good with 4.8-5.7 tuning and what to expect but have no idea about the 6.0L.

 

On my friends NBS reg. cab, 5.3 the tune made a major difference. With his old tune he had a delay when he floored it, but now with the new tune it just goes no delay.

 

A tune is a must for 07's, seems to be worst than previuos years for pe delays.
Nelson's can do it but last time i checked, cores were hard to come by.

 

I have HPTuners and am waiting on my upgrade to get done so I can go tune it. I think the PE is set for 5500rpms and it shifts at 5k, so it never even sees PE. I think its sad that even with 4.10's I need wet pavement to break the tires loose, and thats with peg leg. lol
