I've seen on some sigs. on here that the mass air has been deleted with Hp Tuners or other programs. On a daily street driven vehicle, would this be o.k. What are the advantages/disadvantages of running no mass air. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm gathering info for a friend who is fixing to get a tune.

 

SD tuning makes life alot easier, there is nothing wrong with it GM uses SD systems on some of the Holden vehicles if I remember right.

 

Your motor will be alot more responsive, but your gas milage will take a dive

 

Mileage shouldn't be an issue if it's done correctly.

The Trailblazer and other inline motors in the small trucks use SD tuning.

If done right its a huge difference you are optimizing the air/fuel to your engine with its mods, I have noticed that running a tuned maf along with the tuned ve gives better top end though
