I been rocking my Nelson Tune since Oct of last year and the truck runs awesome.. And Allen has gave me great customer service. Well i want the most out of my setup so im heading to TX this Friday for an in person tune and dyno session.... I know im kinda "safe" tuned now... do you guys think its worth 11 hours of driving there and 11 back??? Or just leave it..Has anyone picked up a good bit over there mail order tune..

You can expect a lot more,
Allen sets his mail order tune up safe, at least mine were back in the day.
But i guarantee your AFR will be better and you'll pick up some power cuz allen can safely lean ya out in person.
Also have hm ride around and do some street tuning for your shifting and part throttle driveabilty.
You will be happy though and its def. worth it.

My opinion is that SD can more accurately control fuelling when in boost. Besides that, your setup may or may not be exceeding what the MAF can read. You'd have to scan it to see if you are.
It's also my opinion that driving 11 hours each direction for a tune is a terrible idea. Especially for a SD tuned vehicle. The tune will need "retuned" when you get it home, for changes in altitude & environment. Example, a truck that runs perfectly in Texas will not run perfectly in Alaska. (terrible extreme example, but trying to make a point).
You'd be best off having it tuned locally, which I'm sure you know, but I'm guessing your Nelson tune is locked, and that is your dillemma.
