My truck (06 5.3 4L60E silverado) has a Mail Tuned ECM with EFILIVE,, and i just get the EFILIVE v2,, can i reflash the tune on this licensed ECM, without using my licenses??

How do i check is this ECU is licensed???

Or do i need to licensed it with my V2 to be able to reflash it??

 

No your gonna have to burn a license. Serial number/VIn of the ecu is store on your v2 cable. So since you have a brand new ecu your gonna have to license it to you cable.

If its a mail order is likely that your pcm might be locked, just ask your tuner. Efi live comes with 2 vin licenses when you buy it new.
