Just installed Trick stage 2 kit on my 09 Silverado. Its at the tuner now but the computer is only getting a zero from the MAF. using his HP tuner and my diablo i2 both read zero. Tuner does not have time to track down the problem any ideas on what could cause this? I did not cut any wires to move the MAF and I just went down there and unloomed everything and checked for broken or stretched wires. everything looks good.

 

Is maf properly plugged in?
Did installer of maf break it by any chance

Your helping me on the forced injection area to. I did not damage it when reinstalling it. Is there a way to tell if its damaged? Do you happen to know what 3 wires are for the MAF? thanks for helping

Should be able to view it with eyes but you would get a code

my factory MAF

 

It's 5 wire, not 3. It is 12V not 5V.
Check the 15A ENG fuse. Check Ground G103. It is item 4 in the engine pic.

If your tuner can't/won't figure out a simple problem like that I would be getting my vehicle away from him and to someone else.

 

Maf is not 5 wires.....its 3 wires with IAT being the other 2


Got me on the power to maf is 12v but signal is 5v from pcm

 

How many wires are on the plug?
