Default Maf issues on a hci lq4 Silverado

I have a 2004 Silverado that has a lq4 with hci and a 100 shot of nitrous. I was messing with the intake a little bit and damaged one of the maf resistors by accident. Went and bought a new ac delco unit and truck bogs with black smoke at 4k rpm. Ran great with original maf. One thing I noticed was the resistor colors in the original one had blue ones and the new one had grey ones. Any help is greatly appreciated I really want to get this thing back on the road. Don’t mind the ghetto soldier on the one side I tried to see if I could soldier it back together.

I'd try to warranty it before doing anything too drastic.

If I used a scan tool I'd be watching the airflow readings and voltage readings from the sensor to see what is up.

If they don't warranty it I have several MAFs laying around. Fixing to disassemble a 2004 sierra to do a drag build on and its in good working order if you need a good known unit.

You probably got a knock off unit. You need to buy from a reputable source. Amazon and Ebay are not reputable sources.
