It's fixable by opening up the parameters for the P0101 diagnostic. Not just disabling the code. As the years went on GM tightened up the parameters for the P0101 diagnostic. Your tuner should be doing this on everything he tunes that is modified. Even stock trucks from about 02-07 classic should be changed. It's one of the more common false problem codes that sets. Has nothing to do with running SD or not. For SD you set the MAF fail parameter of 0hz and set P0103.

I just finished my cam install today. I am gonna drive it a few times and if it comes back. I need them to fix my idle. It idles at almost 800 rpm and will go 40 mph down the road with no throttle if you don't push the brakes. Wish I knew someone closer to me that could just lower the idle. Need to get hptuners so I can adjust little things like that and log data. It seems to fall on its face right around 2000 rpm under light load. Picks right back up after 2000. Not sure if that's related or not.

I don't remember exactly if it was a P0101 or P0102, but changing the IGN 1 relay in the underhood fuse box fixed the problem for me.

Well after 2 trips it set the p0101 code again. I still need to find my scanner and see if I can read maf flow.
