Default Low idle speed on startup/stalling

Hi, newbie here to forum. (I'm a corvetteforum guy) Seeking assistance with my wife's 2000 GMC Sierra 5.3 - (stock engine/driveline - for now) Truck has developed an occasional low idle at startup, which sometimes results in stalling. Off-idle/acceleration is fine. I have cleaned throttle body and IAC passage- no help. Truck is also not setting any codes.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks

You need to clean your throttle and if that does not fix it turn the idle screw out 1/2 turn at a time till the problem goes away. Your IAC motor is working to hard to control your idle.

OK, so it helps if I'm in the right forum. Thanks !

Turns out it was a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
The truck has a lot more throttle response too now.
I'm sure mileage will improve as well.

Awesome Truck !!!

We bought a Whipple kit for ours a while back, but I never installed it.
Just sitting in a spare room, in the box.
