Well I got my wait4me a while back and did NOT do the relearn but had no lights on. I had him program it for 4.10 gears that were not installed also. So here is the deal, I drove down to the shop (next day) and had them put in my 4.10 as soon as I left my (ABS) and BRAKE lights came on. SO I thought maybe he forgot about the 4.10 gears nope they were in there. But now those lights come on periodicly.


SO HE IS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW!

1. Is my ABS going bad? (sometimes I get lights after startup and sometimes after 20 miles)

2. Could the SES be because I never got my re-learn?

 

Im pretty sure the SES light is because you havent gotten the relearn done yet... dont have a clue about the ABS???

 

There's some other ppl on here that this has happened to when they did a gear change, do a search and see what you can find b/c i know your not the only one

 

did a seach for ya, same thing happened to SSlow 4.8 and Z7199, PM and see what they did

 

Well Im z7199 and I took truck to AZ and they said cam/crank sensor misfire code. So yeah its a relearn thing.

 

ya i'm guilty of having him tune for 4.10's w/o the 4.10's in there as well ... i figured it out, lol... freaked me out when it happened. glad all is good now for ya
