Default Lost backup camera w/ 4L80 swap

We just finished up installing a Jakes 4L80 and now the backup camera is not coming up on the screen. Any ideas?

Just thinking off the top of my head here, does it know it's going into reverse?

Curious if the computer says it's going into reverse and telling the BCM that.

That was one of our thoughts too. I just got back from talking to Jake and he tried adjusting the shifter cable. His thoughts are the BCM should be recognizing that it's in reverse because the display is correct.

I'm at a loss.

How is the camera wired in?

Did you check the positive and negative connection for this?

How did you do the swap? Relay method or did you rewire and do a segment swap?

The truck is a 2007.5 so it didn't come with a camera. I bought a GM kit and installed it through a lock pick. Power goes through a reverse light.

Jake's shop actually did the swap for me. He did the segment swap.

Justin (black bear performance) sent me the TCM tune.

Are the reverse indicator lamps coming on? If not, you likely need to adjust the rotation of the gear indicator switch on the side of the trans. It can be just a hair off where it shows proper gear position on the dash but not turn on reverse lamps.

Yes, the backup light circuit is completely separate from the position indicator switches.

I actually checked that today. Reverse lights are on.

If you didn't changed the wiring to the cam, it should still work. Unless it is the LockPick not switching inputs. What happens if you flash the old 60E tune back in?(Key-on/Reverse) Or plug the cam into a different input that you can switch on/off?

I haven't had a chance to do any further diagnostics (will try swapping tunes). I do have more info though.

The beeper part of my backup sensors is not working. The lights above the seat belts do, but the beeper that beeps faster as you get closer to an object is not.
