Is the upgrade from V1.7 a free download? From what I understand the software came with free upgrades right, so this should be a free download? Don't want to sound stupid, just thinking out loud.

How are you guys sharing HPT amongst people/friends when they only give you one cable? Also isn't the CD done once you install it onto 1 computer? Forgive my ignorance as I never thought I would actually need this program, but.....

It comes with one cable so sharing it can have its goods & bads...like who's gonna hold the cable forever & ever. You can however install the software on as many computers as you'd like...for instance i have a copy of both of my cables on my home, work & laptop and I have a couple of other copies from friends of theirs on my laptop so that part isnt a problem

i live near bigkid. so does the other guy that is going in with us. Slowprocess is a good distance away but we normally meet once or twice a month at the track. so tuning him shouldn't be a problem. also, he is keeping the nelson tuned computer and will have one tune for N/A and one tune for nitrous. therefore he can still ride if he wanted to mail one computer in for some tweaking.

Also, and this may be cheesy, but I changed my scanner gauges to Black instead of the royal blue they were before, LOVE THAT!

Joe, that was one of the reasons for the upgrade, to support your LS2!, however I'm not sure if all the cables and such are ready to go just yet, might need to send them an email.
