i have question about the 255 pump how do you mount it in your tank if anybody has any pictures that would be better

 

Go to the Magnason web site. Theres instructions with pictures on their site. Really pretty easy to do. I ordered my 255 from them also. About $130 from them. Good luck. Let me know if you cant find their instructions.

 

Your running 12#s on a stock lq9?

 

Yes sir 12lbs. There are quite a few guys running 12 and more on there stock engines with safe tunes. The tune is everything. You can easily burn one with 8lbs if its not tuned right.

 

How much timing you running? Whats your a/f ratio? And what rpm you shifting at?

 

Have to get back to you on that one. WOT it's about 12.2. At cruise 14.8. Not sure on timing.

I'll let you know as soon as the tuner texts me back. I'm guessing 18degrees but I'm not sure. I do know he said if I go with a 160 thermostat I could go alittle more timing.

 

12.2 is a little lean. You may want to drop it into the 11's to be safe.

 

What's your a/f ratio at cruise?
