I've read the write ups and have successfully used the EGR input as a wideband AFR input for the stock ECU (for logging purposes) with HPTuners using pin 55 on the Blue connector

I have also used the Air Conditioning input on other cars. On say 99-02 camaros, pin 14 on the red connector is for the AC pressure sensor. They use a 0-5 volt sensor rather than the low/high switches like the trucks do.

I was wondering if I could use pin 14 on the red on my truck and still be able to see the incoming voltage on that pin to be able to log another sensor since I am already using the EGR and fuel tank pressure inputs for my dual widebands. If I can use the 14R pin, what parameter would I log (since typically this pin is not used).

It depends what year your PCM is. 02+ truck PCMs also had pressure sensors for the AC, so that works fine. I think only 99-01 had the switches. If you have a DBW tb those also all have AC pressure signals and EGR. In HPTuners though sometimes the EGR functionality is removed with a custom 2bar or 3bar os.

I have a 99 or 2000 pcm. Drive by cable

This will he a nitrous car so 1 bar is just fine.

I don't have AC anymore so controlling it doesn't matter to me, I just want to be able to log through the pin

Well the physical pcm should be the same correct? 411 aka p01

If it's just the calibration that is different then I could just flash a different cal to the pcm I have now. But I was hoping to get away with not having to license another tune file and just have pin 14 work anyway

Maybe, but I think there were small hardware changes also.

May as well try it, should only take a minute. Put a AA, C, or D battery to it and see if it reads ~1.5v
