lock up problem?

Default lock up problem?

have a ? on tunning on my 08 gmc 5.3 with full bolt ons . put a stall in it. truck ran fine and locked fine. then put a cam in it and now ill be picking up speed arouned 65 and the converter will lock fine 4 a bout 45 seconds then itll unlock 4 a little bit a minute or so then itll lock back up . itll keep going back and forth locking and unlocking. so i talked 2 the tuner but he cant find anything . have any of u had a problem similar 2 this? ps when it unlocks it feels like a little jerk

If its a steady load and unlocking that would indicate a missfire.

If it unlocks under load that is normal. Some tuning may help.

I believe knock sensitivity has to be tweaked when a cam is installed, otherwise the PCM reads a miss and yes, the converter will unlock....then lock again.

yup at a steady speed . say cruising at 65 and it locks fine then boom it starts to do it
