Lingenfelter lost sync
#1
After a short first gear romp coasting to a stop light idle dropped to 300 and truck stalled. Truck will restart and run perfect for about 20 seconds and the same thing happens again. The only thing I see under the hood is that at the time the truck starts acting up the 24-58 Lingenfelter module loses sync and starts flashing either 2 or 3 red following the green sync indicator. No SES lights and gauges appear normal. Any quick suggestions as the '09 is out with a busted ring land?

May have found the answer to my question. 3 red and 1 green=bad wiring or bad crank position sensor. My first thought was broken ground ( I hate electrical gremlins) I was just worried that the heat soak issue from the early models might be back given the 100+ ambient temp sitting in traffic. By the way if LPE is on here - slow them blinks down, they're hard to count.

Normally when you see 3 red lights then a green light it would indicate that the crank sensor signal is not present. I would suggest checking the wiring and or replacing the sensor. Please email me your model number and when you purchased this item. tdyer@lingenfelter.com
