Dr. X, increase that KR recovery rate. Change it to 0.2, it will look a lot better on your scan that way, easier to read too. How are your BEN's 1.0 when you are 4 tenths away from your commanded AFR? Your actual vs. commanded seems to be kind of all over the place in that scan.

Get rid of that metric junk.... I like to leave my VSS metric and change the name to "MPH", looks like Im flyin!

Actually, I was meaning to try that after reading it in one of your threads.

Actual BEN at that point is 1.035. But the dash is only showing one decimal place. Actual AFR never seems to match commanded under these conditions. Seems that, before I looked at what was going on, I kept adding fuel here(via the VE table), but I still got similar BEN results.

The best option is to just avoid the lugging in the first place via trans tuning.

I can work with either units but the metric matches my truck's gauges. At least the TFT is in *F .

I have the knock problem also at 2000-2400 rpm in 4th locked, lugging but not the lean condition. I never could tune it out, so I just left it, added a little timing so it was where I wanted it with 1-2* of knock.

Think I finally got that lean spot taken care of. But I still see the KR here if I use the original Radix trans tables. No way to prevent that without a downshift.

Here's the new unfiltered BEN Map(should have left the idle portion of the VE table alone). No more lean cells 1800-2000 RPM.

But there is still KR here even when rich with pretty low timing and under steady state conditions. So that even rules out the .2-.4 sec lag between commanded and WB AFR as being an issue.

I don't think running off the MAF would help this. Probably best to just avoid boost in 4th gear(low RPM)/high load situations. Too much air with nowhere for it to go, resulting in excessive cylinder pressures/temperatures or whatever for street gas. 4th is for cruising, boost is not. Might be better off with no boost and more timing in 4th.
