Default Knock Sensor Settings

How have you guys adjusted your knock sensors? Mine ('01 5.3L) seem to be overly sensitive and are picking up false knock, probably from the valvetrain. Am I safe copying ALL of the knock sensor settings from another tune, like an LS1 f-body? Or are there certain settings that must be retained?

Why not just reduce the sensitivity about 10%?
I had to reduce mine some from a noisy lifter..

There appear to be quite a few variable that affect sensitvity. Which ones are you referring to?

The thought behind copying over everything is that the parameters seem to intertwine quite a bit, so adjusting one value without adjusting another could cause undesirable results. So if all of the values are copied over from one engine to another, then you can be relatively sure that the knock sensors will still behave as GM intended.

Just a thought
