where is the knock sensor on a 2001 4.3l v6?

 

Driverside Rear of engine, it bolts to the block kinda by the distributor i believe. (looking at shitty alldata picture) I think its like the LS2's and has a bolt holding it in.

well thats where the one thats one his truck now is and it looks like the ls1 version. but the two wire version that he needs has a bolt hole in the middle of it and a two wire plug. which one is in the picture?

 

two wire plug one, Its like a doghnut, with pluce for a two wire plug.

yeah that one. so it mounts in the same location but using a bolt?

 

Is that the same place I can find mine on my 02 6.0L? DId yours throw a codeP0330 I think. What are the issues if not fixed? Thanks
