KBRacing Style Turbo Tuning
#1
I'm trying to decided between a maggie and a log style turbo setup. The hangup I'm having now is, how are you guys tuning you're turbo setups? I see how the drivers side O2 will still read correctly but the passenger side has a mix of the drivers and passenger side exhaust so that could throw off closed loop fueling. I don't want to run an open loop tune because here in the north east, we can get a 30 degree temp swing from morning to late afternoon. Hopefully I've made myself clear enough.

It works out just fine, unless you have other problems, if you watch your fuel trims from bank to bank, they should very close to each other at all times. I have never seen an issue whatsoever with the way its setup.

It's when a problem may arise that I was concerned about. I'll have to look into HPTuners more and see if there is a way to keep the fuel trims equal.

When you're tuning, and making adjustments to fueling, you are not adjusting bank 1 seperately from bank 2. You're doing all of it together. The only drawback of the configuration would be trying to use the O2 readings for troubleshooting driveability issues. Otherwise it will work just fine.
Besides, Maggie trucks are slow.
