Joe Gibbs Diablosport Trinity HELP ME
#1
I just purchased a Diablosport Trinity T1000 from a private seller (I have the receipts and everything that it was bought directly from Diablosport), and I have been having a problem. I am trying to install a tune and it wont save the original backup. The device was not married to any vehicle.
It says it may be because of a prior existing tune on my vehicle. Now, I know the JGP Silverados came with a tune from the factory, could that be my problem? Is there anything I can do to fix the issue?
My JGP Silverado is a N/a 5.3
Any help or advice would be great thank you.

I believe they had a tune from Hypertech on them. I remember they had a handheld tuner that was supposed to come with them but it may have only been with the supercharged ones.
This could be your issue.
You might want to contact Mike@DiabloSport on here for some assistance.
I don't know if they marry themselves to 1 vin number or if its because of a tune from another handheld on there.

ANYTHING aftermarket needs to be disconnected/disabled.. aftermarket stereo, subs, amps, nav, satellite receiver, trailer brake/light setup, remote start, alarm, etc... anything aftermarket like that needs to be disconnected/pull the fuses for it...
and when you go to try to install a tune, first make sure the parking brake is on, everything is turned off - lights, heat/fan/blower, etc... do not operate any power windows or anything, etc. etc....

Alright guys, I figured it out. I had to pull my fuse for my stereo and then everything worked out. Thanks for the help.
I only paid $340 for it, and it was born late january... not a bad deal if i say so myself.
