Default Installed W4M Tune 2Day!!!!

I Installed my wait4me tune today. I Know(I Think) It takes a while to tune it's self to my truck and driving style. But everything is about perfect, No Lights(ses or any other) and that bitch (truck) friggin flys. Shifting doesnt bang as hard as my Diablosport, But it shifts Very fast and Smooth. Probably Better. I haven't been real hard on it yet. I have only gone 10 miles, it seems to shift about 5700, but My O2 gauge was showing 15+ at WOT whereas my Diablo was 12.5. is this going to correct it's self once I have enough tables to average? should I be conservative for a while? and to anyone who's wanting comparison to a hand held, within 10 miles I can tell this is better, and 1/2 the price. this 4x4 Crewcab goes from 30 to 100MPH in a friggin snap, I was shocked that I had already reached 100. It made me smile & Laugh. I'll drive it more this weekend and Let you know how it does. but does that fuel air ratio concern anyone?

you mean 15.0 air fuel ratio @ W.O.T. ? that is lean ! i'd be careful!! Do you have a way to read your o2 sensors? you want them around 910-930 @ w.o.t.

Yes the 15.0 is my a/f ratio On my wide band O2 sensor. I cant read it in Mv. Only what it shows on the display. I won't run it hard until I'm More Certain that It's not going to stay that lean. Otherwise I'll have Jesse Richen it up. I didn't hold it wide open, cause it's only been 10 miles and I expect it to take a little longer to adjust it's self. But I am very happy with it so far. The tow/haul works good, a few more R's in every gear. The Best $150 I have spent on this truck, and I have spent allot. He recomends the crank relearn even if there is no light. so I'll do that early in the week.

How important is the crank relearn; Does it need to be done? I'm still waiting on a Nelson Tune it has been well over a month now maybe two. Damn this L33 engine .

There is no learning involved at WOT. You are too lean. Stay out of it until you get the tuned checked out.

Howdy,
I had my W4Me tune for a month and a half before the engine light came on. I took it to the dealer and he performed the crank relearn in about 10 minutes. It was so quick that we did it in the drive way of the service dept. It cost $23.80. I dont know if it is my feeble mind playing tricks on me but it sure feels like it picked up a little more power after the relearn. The technician who did the relearn told me that the engine light will come on after a certain number of start and stop cycles on the engine. Have a goodun!!!!!

15:1 A?f is way to lean at WOT,like said above I would stay out of it until you have it retuned. That is not good.

Make sure you calibrate the wide band o2 before depending on it.
